Establish a config connection
1. Necessary equipment
- Computer running Windows, Linux or macOS
- Micro-USB cable
Note for ICC1324 owners
The ICC1324 requires a USB-B 2.0 cable instead (also known as printer cable).
2. Connecting your computer through USB or Ethernet for initial configuration
Connecting through USB is recommended.
- USB
- Ethernet
- Make sure the Charge Controller is ready (refer to the LED status reference)
- Plug the appropriate USB cable into the Charge Controller's
CONFIG
port and connect it to your computer - Open http://192.168.123.123 through your web browser
You should now be met with the Config UI or Legacy Config UI based on your current settings.
- Static IP
- DHCP
- Make sure the Charge Controller is ready (refer to the LED status reference)
- Make sure the Charge Controller and your computer are on the same Local Area Network (LAN) or the Charge Controller is directly connected to your computer through Ethernet
- Open http://192.168.124.123 through your web browser
You should now be met with the Config UI or Legacy Config UI based on your current settings.

Setting a static IP address on Windows 10/11

Fallback method
To enable a configuration if both described ways aren't suitable, a permanent, static, second IP address is available on the Ethernet interface of the Charge Controller.
To access the Charge Controller via this address, you have to set your PC's IP address to the same address space and subnet mask.
Example configuration:
- Make sure the Charge Controller is ready (refer to the LED status reference)
- Make sure the Charge Controller and your computer are on the same Local Area Network (LAN)
- Open the IP address set through your DHCP-enabled router. Check your router settings to determine the IP address
You should now be met with the Config UI or Legacy Config UI based on your current settings.
If unsure about the wiring, refer to your Charge Controller's handbook.
2.1. Troubleshooting
Try the following in case you run into problems:
- Make sure the Charge Controller is ready before accessing the Config UI. Refer to the LED status reference to determine the Charge Controller's status.
- Try a different USB port on your computer
