Clinical Installation Engineer (various locations)

The Clinical Installation Engineer is responsible for the installation, service and repairs of Bender UK’s (BUK) and third-party clinical products. The products include Operating Lights, Examination Lights, Rigid, Retractable & Articulated Pendants, Audio-Visual Systems and Operating Tables. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Carrying out Installation of Benders Clinical portfolio both electrically and mechanically. 

  • Carrying out annual service and verification works on BUK clinical install base. This will also include third party equipment as necessary. 

  • Liaising with BUK service department and suppliers to source any necessary spares required to fulfil Bender’s maintenance contracts. 

  • Supporting customers as necessary. representing Bender UK in the best light possible through delivering excellent customer service. 

  • This role will be on site dealing with end customers, contractors and hospital staff. 

  • Completing thorough job specific risk assessments and method statements as required to a high standard. 

  • Working closely with all departments within Bender UK, promoting cross functional working and one team approach. 

 
Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Electrician 17th/18th Edition 

  • Clean driving licence 

  • Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) 

  • JIB gold card 

  • SSSTS Card would be preferable 

  • DBS checks will be required 

  • Experience of installing clinical equipment would be advantageous (Op Lights, Pendants, AV Solutions) 

  • Team player attitude essential 

  • Full, clean UK driving license 

 

 

Job Type: Full-time – remote working 

Locations: Leeds / Milton Keynes 

Pay: Competitive dependent on experience 

 

There is travel involved within this role as you would be expected to attend site meetings as required to represent Bender UK before, during and after install, continuously liaising with all parties in the Bender and sub-supply supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard. A company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop will be provided.
