Project Engineer (various locations)

The Project Engineer is responsible is responsible for managing and overseeing projects across the full spectrum of the Companies diverse portfolio within the Healthcare sector. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To ensure the smooth and accurate installation of equipment into our accounts and all post project documentation is completed. 

  • Regular communication with both the internal and external sales team to ensure all technical aspects are captured across all schemes. 

  • Attending site meetings as required to represent Bender UK before, during and post project completion. 

  • Evaluating, organising and prioritising work within the project schedule 

  • Supporting the Bender UK Sales Team with technical advice and information by email, telephone or in person if a site visit is required. 

  • Regular communication with the Head Office in Germany, first and second level support will be required. 

  • In addition constant technical communication with all parties in the Bender supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard. 

  • Understanding of the company CRM system essential • Using the company CRM system to deliver projects to BUK standards. 

  • Producing technical drawings and information critical to the smooth running of BUK projects. 

  • Producing of RAMS essential to the site work for BUK. 

 

Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Bender Portfolio knowledge would be advantageous  

  • A background in Electrical Engineering 

  • NVQ3, ONC or equivalent in electrical engineering  

  • Knowledge of medical clinical equipment would be advantageous 

  • Experience of using Autocad drawing packages 

  • Experience in working with Design and/or Quality teams would be advantageous 

  • Team player attitude essential 

  • Full, clean UK driving license  

 

Job Type: Full-time – remote working 

Locations: South, Leicestershire, Stoke, North-East / Scotland 

Pay: Competitive dependent on experience 

 

There is travel involved within this role as you would be expected to attend site meetings as required to represent Bender UK before, during and after install, continuously liaising with all parties in the Bender and sub-supply supply chain to ensure the projects are completed to a high standard. A company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop and i-Pad will be provided.
