The LINETRAXX® SmartDetect RCMS410/RCMS425-L/RCMS425-D is an AC, pulsed DC, and smooth DC sensitive residual-current monitor for earthed power-supply systems. It measures residual currents between 2 mA and 70 A with direct voltage as well as alternating voltage in a frequency range from 15 Hz to 20 kHz.
Corresponding measuring-current transformers (e. g. CTUB100 and CTAC series) must be connected to the residual current inputs.
Individual response values for pre-warning and main alarm can be set for each channel, and the response value can be chosen from the RMS value of AC and DC or the individual AC and DC components.
The alarm is indicated by alarm LEDs (RCMS410 and RCMS425-L) or on an LCD display (RCMS425-D). Alarm signalling is also possible via the digital outputs and via the Modbus RTU interface.
Despite its small size and compact design, the RCMS410 is a top performer. It can be operated with a DC 24 V power supply.
All devices have variety digital inputs and outputs, as well as an analogue output.
The communication with higher-level systems . The parameters required for electrical systems can be set either via Modbus RTU or via the NFC interface and the Bender Connect App. It is also possible to preset the operating parameters ex works.
Various functions can be added to the devices using function modules.

Functional Module Selection
The function modules can be purchased ex works or subsequently as an unlimited licence. Subsequent activation of individual or multiple function modules is possible for all variants (item no.).
All variants can be used with type A/F measuring current transformer series.
The B function module is required to use type B/B+ measuring current transformer series for AC/DC sensitive measurement.

The reference to a customer-specific configured variant can then be found on the packaging of the individual product as well as in the delivery note (the changed parameters are listed there, the assignment is made via the item number in the delivery note and the serial number of the unit).
