Integrated power module IPM1300 for use with the ICC1314 charge controller
The IPM1300 is the perfect addition to build a compact charging station or wallbox. With its dimensions of just 120 mm x 130 mm, it harmonises ideally with the ICC1314 charge controller, enabling the construction of compact charging stations.
The power module of the IPM1300 contains an integrated power supply unit that is also used for the charge controller, so that no additional DC power supply is required. In addition, 3 watts are available for additional applications. It can be used for charging systems with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW.
The integrated measuring current transformer is analysed via the charge controller. Together, the transformer and the charge controller form a 6 mA DC fault current detection system in accordance with IEC 62955. The IPM1300 also monitors the protective earth (PE) connection and the 3-phase system.
An internal temperature sensor records the current PCB temperature and enables the charge controller to adjust the charging current depending on the temperature. The monitoring of the load relay (weld check) is also integrated in the power module.
